Not a service academy. The Admiral attended Nowheretown State University for a bachelor's degree, University of Chicago for a master's degree as a teaching assistant, and then a top law school. Also did some exchange study at universities in Asia on two prestigious fellowships from foreign governments. When it was time to delay gratification, gratification was delayed. Now it is time for gratification.
