I don't understand how this stuff works apparently. Cruz is vile but clearly not stupid. I simply don't see what the downside of not endorsing Trump would be. From my point of view you deny support and continue to denounce him, wait a bit for the whole mess to blow over, then come out smelling like integrity on the other side. Where am I wrong?
