General list of the major purchases I have made this summer which will help explain my lack of activity here for the last few months.

1. Roughly $5500 on cataract surgery (right eye though I will have to get the left one done very shortly too)

2. Metaforin, a blood sugar monitoring tester, and needles and test strips for said device, plus various other lab tests that resulted in me being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Went to the doctor in early July because it seemed like all I was doing in the early summer was drinking Gatorade and peeing. Told her I was wondering if I could be coming down with diabetes. She asked if those were my only symptoms and I said yes. She replied it probably isn't anything that serious but we'll do a urine test just to be sure. Fifteen minutes after I whizzed in the tube she came back in and said "You are a smart guy." Had glucose in my urine so they did a blood test with a monitor. Nurse looked at the readout and just rolled her eyes at me and turned the display around for me to see, didn't say a word to me. Display read 376 I looked at her and said "let me guess, that is bad?" Her reply was basically "yeah that is only about four times higher than normal you idiot."

3. New Taylor Made sand wedge to replace the Ping sand wedge I broke a couple of weeks ago.
