Looks like the Royals have rubbed off on the Chiefs. Winning a game that after 90% of the game was played you thought they had no way of winning. First half was so bad I turned off the TV. Hell in the first half Kansas City looked like a worse team than Cleveland. Went back a couple of hours later and they were in OT.

I would think that unless the Chargers make major improvements in the next few weeks they will have to make a coaching change in the bye week. Fans will not get behind a coach that develops a reputation of playing not to lose when they have the lead instead of playing to win.

PSA reminder for all football fans that tomorrow is that dreaded first Monday night of the regular season where Chris Berman does play by play for the second game of the double header. At least I hope it is just for the second game and only for this week. Just remembered that Tirico is now at NBC and I have no memory of any announcement by ESPN over who is replacing him.
