Has anyone talked to Darren James lately? How's he doing?

A lot of fans pointed fingers at him when the outbreak happened, but I think he was a victim of a poor decision to work overseas and mainly a victim of the choice to work with and trust T.T. Boy way too much.

Is he working somewhere, adjusting OK?

In the times I've been able to work with Darren he's always been a genuine man. I thought I once had his number but I'll keep looking... I hope and am sure he is doing fine.

Geez, how would you be doing if you were HIV positive? I am sure at some point you move on but life is not the same.

Any time James is mentioned publicly, the people who have worked with him say what a nice guy he is. I know he made a couple of attempts to find jobs outside of porn, but always ended up back in LA.

Up until March, I don't think there were any official recommendations to take a break from working and get tested after being out of country. James got tested as soon as he got back to the US and only waited three weeks for his next test, instead of waiting the usual four. So he was doing more than anybody was asking for.

Gen, if you talk to him, tell him that there's people who are concerned and hope he's OK.

Seems to me that he's a pretty genuine nice guy who made a mistake. Unfortunately his mistake has impacted on others, but hey, you play the game you suffer the consequences I guess
