Sometimes that isn't a bad thing. Nurses & doctors refer to pneumonia as an old man's best friend simply because it's a relatively painless way to pass.
Yep. Mom slipped off in the 2.5 hrs between when I left for work and my sister stopped to check on her. Musta laid down on the couch after taking some medicine and drifted off. Basically drowning in yer sleep. Don't even know what hit ya.
Pop died quick also, years ago. Massive heart attack while driving, they say he was probably gone before the car stopped.
I am now an orphan.
