"Barfly," Faye Dunaway is the cutoff point, I think. Plus her character in that film reminds me of some of the train wreck women I occasionally hang out with.
There is indeed a cutoff point after which the life of a blowsy alcoholic makes a woman disgusting and un-fuckable.
