Paring knife. An original by the master himself for $700. The day after I bought this, another one just like it went up for sale on eBay with a "Buy Now" price of $2,500. Usually when I get a good deal on something like this, the seller voids the sale, but this guy came through. I have this and an original 10" chef's knife locked away and wrapped in moisture-proof paper

I'm trying to acquire a full set of kitchen knives, but I've had a few past sales cancelled by buyers who later changed their minds. Not sure whether I'll use them someday, store them away to pass along, or sell them as a package for an exorbitant sum. At this rate, it'll take another 10-15 years to get a full set.
