I just had possibly the dumbest conversation of my life with my car insurance customer service rep. My policy went up by $1,400 because "either the ratings or symbols we use have changed." I asked specially what had changed and she was like, "I just told you. The symbols we use were incorrect and now they're correct." I asked her to explain it without using the word "symbols" and she couldn't.

Her: The factors we use have changed.
Me: What factors specifically have changed exactly?
Her: The ratings or symbols that we use.
Me: Stop! Stop it! Stop saying "symbols!" Btw, thank you for providing me no useful information whatsoever.
