There is still a market for the DVD format but only as one revenue stream of many, estimates vary considerably. Some of the smaller directors are coasting on the ever diminishing checks for VOD and past titles while desperately hoping their latest title sells enough to break even (500 units in some cases).

As far as the reviews, I wish I could be as ultra positive as one of their reviewers (Bobo) or as much as hack as "Jack" whose reviews are so poor now that I wonder if he even reads the box covers to write them now, no evidence that he even watches the movies at 20X speed given a lack of anything of substance. The rating inflation does seem all over the map too but Sean's not bad and Marv is okay on the oldies.

It was brought to my attention that the website they are using to raise funds is supposed to be for non-profit organizations and they are anti-porn so any of you that want to get a dig in can always go report them as such. I don't know if that would do anything but given how little has been donated, maybe the cheerful couple running the website should have taken the standard settlement offer...
