I'm working on developing a series for cable about the adult industry during the time of the internet boom. We'd like to take real stories and fictionalize them for the show. I know there's been a lot of crazy shit that's gone down but I just can't remember it all... I know most of it has been immortalized here. So let's take a trip down memory lane and give me some story ideas based on real life porn insanity... and go!

Porn to cable rarely works. You might as well just make up your own stories. Thats where I come in as a writer.

Porn translates poorly to cable because,well, you can't show the porn.

Only the Sith speak in absolutes. Also, Hot Girls Wanted worked ok.

First story should be about Duke Floored.

Pilot should probably be set at an AVN w/ all the whoring and showboating to introduce characters, then the next episodes go back to the meat grinder of Porn Valley.

Yes! Ever since I first saw her in "My Daughter's Fucking Blackzilla" (Volume 6, Scene 1) I've been driven to know more about Allie Ray. She was way ahead of her time. Unfortunately we haven't reached a place yet where, socially and culturally, merely stating the volume of a woman's mouth in centimeters cubed carries no implication or stigma.

EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm not saying she was necessarily an influential or tremendous innovator in the field... but she was on the forefront of big black cock research when funding was somewhat minimal, and her work was fastidious enough that it remains relevant today. Given what we now know to be true, it's simply amazing that she was able to stuff as much in there as she did.
