Ohh god can we please not bring this "money isn't everything crap into this argument". This argument is based solely on high paying job opportunities that aren't offer to people from the ghetto based on where they were raised and the colour of their skin. Now i side with fayner on the side that some black people like to blame whites for all their short comings but having said that i can agree with the fact that white people are offered and given far more high paying salaries outside of the entertainment industry then blacks. Most of these kids see that the only way to make it out is ball, rap or sell drugs and as a white person growing up in a good neighborhood none of those things we viewed as the only ways to succeed financially in life.

Michael jackson is not only NOT from the ghetto , he isn't even black. Richard pryor can hardly be called a success, his mother was a hooker and he was a drug addict who had 8-10 year stand up and a few movies career.

and eddie murray, someone so famous and successful you don't even know his name.

Powel and rice weren't from the ghetto either.

Even by chance all these people were from the ghetto you can name 5 successful black people that aren't rappers and or pro athletes. FIVE.
