I'm a casual soccer fan, but I missed all of this. First of all, fuck El Tri, bunch of dirty maricóns. Supremely ironic that USA saved them another chance to get in.

Interesting how the English Premier League is now on NBC, that's a great league, but players move around there just as bad as they do in any other major sport now. It's hard to pick a team to call your own unless you live there, I think.

I have never watched anything like it. Brilliant!

Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen - ever.

I know there is so much smoke blowing and sickening bullshit in this business, and I've sort of lost belief in anything really.

But this work of yours is spectacular - absolutely stunning. What is extraordinary, is the sheer power of everyone in the entire production. What was it? Five or six years in the making? How the producers (yourself being one of them), the writers, directors, cinematographers.... every department - casting etc. managed to keep the discipline and control from beginning to the end is (that over used word) awesome.

From what started as a black comedy, descended into a labyrinth of blood, destruction and hell. It was like a great Jacobean, Shakespearian or Greek Tragedy.

If you ever get a chance to - would you pass on my admiration to everyone - Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Aaron Paul, Betsy Brandt, R.J. Mitte, Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Steven Michael Quezada - everyone - everyone gave master classes of performance ... The list is endless.

Thank you. That kind of work/artistry is rare, and when, once in a while, it occurs, as in this epic work, it restores confidence.

You and all the cast are the best actors I've ever seen.

it makes that best actor emmy jeff daniels received just that much more ridiculous. that fucken doof simply delivers 5 word lines with a just kicked in the balls look on his face time after time and that's drama that is apparently award winning. silly, silly shit.

so two episodes in to gilligans island zombie edition(walking dead) and i'm less than entertained. in my opinion they should move the time slot to somewhere around noon wednesday to compete with y&r and whatnot.

American Horror Story - Coven is absolutely brilliant.

Andy Griffith reruns-first season Homeland on Netflix disc- first season - good to very good at times. Horror movie marathon on several channels. I hate Jason and Michael Myers movies.

Deadwood. Outside of the variety of hats, vulgarity, and old west dudes shitting they drawers, I'm not finding much to enjoy.

WD was reflecting on the state of porn and porn journalism earlier, and in that spirit, here's this old school thread that has all of that and a variety of hats.

I gave up on Deadwood. Too boring to keep me interested. I've moved on to Hemlock Grove. It's too early to make a judgement, but it kind of seems like Twilight minus the tween fluff and sprinkled with a dash of David Lynch. Regardless, after House Of Cards and Orange Is The New Black, I have enough faith in Netflix original series to give this the ole college try.

I liked Deadwood but never "got" the flowery dialog coming from a bunch of drunk murdering degenerates.

and deadwood gave up on us. it never got picked up leaving most characters fate open.

eastbound and down had a pretty good sign off tonight. the lindsay lohan was a nice touch.

One of the reasons I wound up in Atlantic City was Boardwalk Empire's debut back in 2010.....I had spent the best years of my life out west in LA, the SF Bay Area, and Vegas having uprooted from my home in New england, so that when I returned in 2009, I was not too aware of the combination cesspool/unpolished gem that is today's Atlantic City. when the series Debuted in 2010, I felt compelled to look into AC, and when I saw the absolutely ridiculous UNDERPRICED housing/condo markets, I went for it......AC is an acquired taste but it requires you to actually LIVE here for weeks/months at a time.


Anyhoooooo......with the death of my favorite character, Richard Harrow, I'm going to have a tough time watching season 5....in the meantime, I anxiously await Game of Thrones..... :banana_natalie_dormer:

Anyone watching the latest HBO series, True Detective? The Woody Harrelson/Matthew McConaughey one. I missed chunks of the first 2 episodes, but caught a full one tonight. I'm liking it, but it seems like it is a slow build to some crazy action next week. Tonight we got some titty outta the broad playing Woody's wife.

I read they are going the American Horror Story route with the series, where next season will be a new story w/ different characters.

Finally started watching "Justified" on Netflix disc. Damn, those are my peeps and very true to the area. Can't believe I put that one off. The only drawback is it wasn't filmed in or around Harlan. Rather in Penn. for some reason. Harlan has mountains right on top of the town. Not that much sky to see as in the show.
