I don't generally believe in mumbo-jumbo or conspiracy theories or science fantasy or whatever you want to call this, but I read an odd article today that suggested some kind of science experiment or something may have altered our current universe or changed the timeline for some people. So, for the most part everything around you seems the same, but maybe one or two things are just slightly different.

For example, almost every person I know swears this certain series of children's books from our youth was called, "The Berenstein Bears." But, if you look it up, it is actually, "The Berenstain Bears." Another one for me is, I would swear this certain color "chartreuse" means pinkish red. But, when I look it up, it's means green and the name comes from a French liqueur. There are a couple of other ones I won't bother to name.

There are also things that other people swear happened that I don't remember. This whole phenomenon has been called "The Mandela Effect" because a large number of people swear Nelson Mandela died in prison in the 80's. I remember him being released and becoming president of South Africa, which is what actually happened.

Btw, I've had horrible insomnia lately and that ^^^ is the kind of stuff you find at 4am on the internet.

Big earthshake up here last night. I had a few things knocked over and my pantry door was blocked from the cabinet doors in there pulling out so the door wouldn’t open. I didn’t realize at first that there had been an earthquake, so I thought my drunk ass had gone around and randomly fucked things up around the house, knocking over paintings, etc. My cat must've been pretty freaked out also because she pooped on the living room floor. She normally has excellent hygiene and would not do such a thing.

If you look at college kids today, most of them look like the losers and dweebs from the 80s. After this Hipster/lumbersexual crap passes I anticipate the flock of seagulls hair to come back.

I'm having a lot of breathing problems. Since I broke my leg last Feb. and had pneumonia I've never fully recovered my breathing function. I have fluid in on of my lungs. The pulmonologist thinks I have bronchiactosis. My mother suffered from the same thing. I go back for a follow up next week after having a high def CT and a bunch of breathing tests my last visit. My sleep is all disjointed. I go to sleep relatively quick but wake up in about 3 or 4 hours and can't sleep anymore. I usually ache all over from my arthritis and bone disease so I get up and drink coffee and watch tv until later in the morning [sometimes noon] and then sleep a couple more hours. It's really fucked me up for getting out and doing anything during the day. Getting old sucks out loud.

You need to go on an anti-inflammatory diet.

LMU moves on to the NC game Saturday. 103 - 102 over W. Liberty. WL had a fantastic player, Seger Bonifant, scored 44. LMU's Gerel Simmons scored 35. Hell of a game. Splitters play Augustana for the crown.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band kicked serious ass at the show last night in Seattle. The show was just under 4 hours long without a break, 35 songs, and I swear Bruce didn't want to leave the stage at the end. It's hard to believe a guy who is 66 years old can have so much energy. He was running all over the place and even pulled off crowd surfing during Hungry Heart. Clarence Clemons nephew Jake is the sax player now and he did a great job and is definitely a crowd favorite. Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam showed up during the encores and sang for one song (Bobby Jean). I had a blast. My ears are still ringing today though, and I don't care.
