I saw Backroomcasting Couch and Pornhub had some type of contest to find the next producer for backroom casting couch. But the guy Eric actually sold the franchise to Pornhun for $1.5 million and he's taking a position with Pornhub and won't be the producer on Backroom any longer; though he's produced enough material through sometime in June. Backroom then becomes a national casting couch site where selected producers present new casting models twice a week from though out the country. But $1.5 million for a porn site?

I submitted a video to be one of the next producers, there's a contest listed on Backroom's Twitter; my video was an actual casting from one of my amateur shoots. The guys who replied to my submission told me. Still hard to believe it's $1.5 million, but it's become a brand name, so I guess the name is worth it.

If Backroom Casting Couch is worth $1.5m, I will submit a formal offer to buy Load My Mouth for $5.
Dude pulled some fine ass for his site. Seems most are content with using same old whores with no tread left. His site was refreshing if you are into the newbs.

Backroom guy scored all his models from his production area in Arizona; didn't fly girls in, etc. He literally would go up to waitresses, girls working at JC Penny, etc. He did most of the legwork himself. So, yea, to score all that ass for that site just from a couple of cities in Arizona, guess he can collect the reward money now.

I'm sure that Pornhub got a look at the books and knows the amount of subscribers that BCC has. If they were looking to make back all the money in a year, they would need a mere 6,250 subscribers paying $20 a month. But they may not be looking to make it all back all at once. Keep in mind that the transaction is likely financed and its basically not PH's money in the first place. There is also the so called synergy and supposed increase in business for both companies. One last thing, website owners lie. While the value of the sale may be $1.5M, alot of that could be bullshit or stock or some other compensation.

Hard to believe there's that many subscribers, if any that pay for more than a month of downloading everything already available. everybody knows Pornhub and tube sites killed the whole concept of paying for porn.  I do not know what a reasonable estimate on the subscribers is. But you have 300M+ potential customers in the US and Billions world wide. So I would not think getting a flow of 6,000 people a month is asking alot. Especially for a quality product. But that's all on a 1 year term to recover the investment. They could be looking to recover the investment over 5 years. Valuation of BCC does not necessarily mean that it has revenues of $1.5M per year.

First of all, you are forgetting that affiliates take 50% of every join and most sites have 20-30% affiliate joins as part of total joins. Second, most sites have a ton of pricing options such as 100 bucks for an entire year, special offers like half off your first month, etc. etc. additionally you aren't factoring in production costs, hosting costs, promotion costs, admin costs, etc. I also think the rule of thumb is that the sale price of your website is profit for 3 years. so 1.5 million would be 500,000 profit each year for the dude which is much more likely.

I read REDDIT with one of the guys of Girlsdoporn; their productions costs for 2015 were over $300K. Broke it down like this, talent- over $10,000 a month. Travel- $5K a month. Productions costs, $5K a month ( hotels, equipment, etc) website, legal, etc.
He would not say if they turned a profit, which is very unlikely ( you can get a monthly membership for $15). But guess it's a team og guys scouring Instagrams, Facebook, modeling agencies, etc, to land the talent.
