Both those movies are re-tread ideas from the earlier works. H8 is the same as Reservior Dogs and directly stolen from a 1960 episode of The Rebel called Fair Game.
Ep7 is a checklist of the successful beats from ep4-6 repeated for a younger and dumber audience. Two lame movies.

Douchebag George Lucas called Disney white slavers in regards to this movie. Wtf did he expect? Imo he ruined the franchise with those last 3 computer generated garbage movies with stupid characters. Plus he turned Return into a kid muppet flick with those dumb ewoks. Empire Strikes Back was ok, but he should've stopped after the first one.

I still like the original trilogy but I stop there. If I had any interest in seeing this new one Disney killed it by whoring out the franchise to advertise everything under the sun. I'm expecting star wars tampons any day now. I'm sick of Hollywood injecting feminism, faggots and niggers into everything. I watch almost nothing new now and I used to be a huge fan of most of this stuff and Sci-Fi and Fantasy in general since the 70s through early 2000s. Now I can't fucking stand it.

Lucas also ruined the original Star Wars by re-editing and adding stuff in, so basically the only worthwhile movie was the original version of Star Wars shown in the theaters. Nuff said.

I waited with dread for Jennifer Jason Leigh's character to get raped. It was once her bread and butter, her schtick.

Jennifer Jason Leigh was pretty hot when I was a kid and saw her in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Nothing compared to Phoebe Cates coming out of the pool though.

The insertion of blacks just hit a nerve with me. I agree. I have no problem with black characters but it pisses me right the hell off for Hollywood to change the race of an already established character to kow tow to blacks. A black Johnny Storm? What a bunch of ignorant shit. Will Smith in The Wild Wild West? A black Django? There are others I can't remember right now. If they want roles for blacks then fucking create some characters or use already established characters from comics/books/other franchises. Sucking black balls just to look pc is bullshit. It's not like they get a huge surge in the audience I wouldn't think.
BTW, I liked the black character in the new Star Wars. I thought the actor did a good job.

The black storm trooper is a bit of a minstrel. Not quite as bad as Jar Jar Binks, but close to it.

I thought it was a good movie. Rey is very fuckable. But then I also enjoyed ep 1-3, at least the story lines. Ep 3 was great, very dark.

This. I don't mind black or other minorities in movies. Its when they take established, popular, cult films/franchises and try to politically correct them up. Create new characters and stories for blacks, women and gay characters. Stop ruining my childhood retroactively and infuriating my adult self with garbage.

When I see most of this shit all I think is some liberal pole smoker ordered this in hollywood or they are doing it because reasonably intelligent white guys don't fall for their marketing in a shit economy so they need the blacks and women to buy their sub-standard shit products.

I don't know if you've read Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series of novels, but this past week black actor Idris Elba was cast in a film of the first novel as the main character, Roland Deschain, the Gunslinger. In the novels, Roland was described as a tall, thin white man with cold, blue eyes. Another character in the novels, a black woman named Detta/Odetta (she has a split personality) taunts him at one point by telling him he has a little white candle dick. Anyway, the producer of the upcoming film had this to say about the whole thing:

"I'm unbelievably proud of it as a collaborator on this enterprise and because I think that he's a great actor and I couldn't be more thrilled that he is likely to play a part... I understand that people who are thoughtful about the storytelling and the racial politics of the storytelling might want to understand how that informs that storytelling, and I respect that and I hear that, and those things are not things we didn't think about or don't think about. The racist assholes should go fuck themselves."

So he should go fuck himself then.

He's basically just saying he's proud to be getting a paycheck for this dreck and doesn't care about why the author might've made the character a blue eyed honky.

Idris Elba is pretty magnetic, though. Who wouldn't turn out to see that guy? Anyway, I've got a brownish friend who's going to be played by a white actor (an English actor, to boot!) in a movie about his life, and I haven't heard a peep of protest.

Elba's a serious actor. He'll probably do well. It'd be different if the anointed were Will Smith.

I'd rather see Dave chappelle in both roles .

Here's the thing I don't get about all this no African-American nominations at the Oscars this year. Why are you upset that the same group of people who thought Ordinary People and Dances With Wolves were better pictures than Raging Bull and GoodFellas think that no African-Americans were worthy of a nomination?
