TVs are so friggin cheap now, that I would consider replacing the one in my living room, but the picture on it is still great and I have no where else I can fit a big ass projection TV.

Ordered some BBQ rubs/sauces from Amazon that will be waiting for me when I get back to town. 3 bottles of dry rub and an assorted pack of sauces from Blues Hog, plus a couple bottles of coarse ground BBQ rub from Dizzy Pig. The Blues Hog rub is great for ribs, while the coarse ground Dizzy Pig rub is great for pulled pork/brisket. Blues Hog's regular BBQ sauce is my favorite for ribs, although I generally mix a few different sauces together when I make BBQ ribs.

I am hooked on Gates and Sons BBQ sauce from Kansas City. I buy it on amazon and use it on burgers, ribs, and chops.

^ I might give that a try. I bought some BBQ sauce from Arthur Bryant's in Kansas City and I thought it was too thin and vinegary.

Bryant's sauce is very different from other K.C. sauces. A lot of cumin is mixed in which results in a strange color and a rather sandpapery texture. It is really good if you are in the mood for it and know in advance what you are getting. It is not an everyday sauce nor a pleasant surprise to be dumped in your taste buds lap. Gates is really good as is Joe's Kansas City (which is also marketed under the Cowtown name). Kansas City Baron is another really good one that doesn't get a lot of publicity. There is an up and coming place called Q39 that will be very popular if they ever put their sauce out for retail sale. If you are doing the mail order thing order as much baked beans from Jack Stack that you can fit in your freezer. They are the greatest baked beans on planet Earth.
