Not exactly. The magazine is worthless, and in fact somehow manages to lose about three million bucks a year, but that PLAYBOY trademark is a juggernaut. All the value in that company is in the trademark, which gets licensed out for all kinds of things overseas.
Yep. When Hef dies, it becomes a licensing company and nothing more.
I thought Tiger Woods should have embraced his inner perv and gotten backers to buy the brand from Hef.
