If there was an endless corn on the cob special I'd so be there. But I am chagrined at your treatment of the 50 year-old server. A man of that age (I'm there in just three years) working for tips at a moderately-priced family restaurant whose patrons are mostly black deserves your empathy.
Fuck no. Fuck him. He brought in my drink, I told him "thank you" and he quiet walked away without acknowledging my Thank You. I don't thank people for nothing, and expect an acknowledgement.
