Speaking of airport tourist shops, I had a stopover in Frankfurt, Germany on my way back to Alaska and was checking out the gift shop next to my gate. After 4 large beers, I was going to buy a nice little keychain with the German flag on it and the name GERMANY on one side. Luckily I hadn't been drinking more than that, because right before I paid for it, I noticed it was misspelled as GREMANY. Must've been made in China.

I can't say enough nice things about Condor airlines Business Class seating. It's almost a 10 hour flight from Frankfort to Anchorage and this was my first time flying Business Class in a very long time. While the Economy/Premium-Economy seating has gotten tighter and tighter, Business Class has gone in the opposite direction. My seat reclined to an almost horizontal bed position and I slept for half of the flight. The 5 or 6 glasses of nice Australian Shiraz that I had with my first meal helped. I'm 6'6" with a large frame and I'll never take this flight again unless it's a Business Class seat. The upgrade price was 500€, but it was worth it to me. It makes me want to take the flight again sometime just to check out Germany for a bit. I've heard the women there can be truly filthy.
