I've been on the latest crazy fad diet for the past week. The Whole30 diet. For 30 days, you eliminate all grains, corn, rice, legumes, soy, sugar, dairy, alcohol and processed food. This leaves you with meat/poultry/fish, veggies, fruits and healthy fats. Nuts are mostly ok, but no peanuts (they're a legume), and no packaged nuts that have peanut oil on them.
I can't believe it, but I really loved the lunch I just made. Spicy grilled chicken breast topped with homemade guacamole on a baked portobello mushroom bun:
