The shoes have arrived. 6pm processed and shipped the order from KY about 16 hours after I made the purchase. The shoes arrived just under 3 days. I've inspected the shoes and can find no cosmetic or manufacturing faults. I put the shoes on and wore them for a little over an hour. They fit incredibly well and are almost too comfortable. I do have complaints with the shoes though and those have nothing to do with 6pm.com and just Eastland's design and materials. The rubber soles are a bit thinner than I expected. The stitching around the sole looks to be mostly for aesthetics. The "reinforced heel" isn't in the actual sole but a part of the insole insert. These would be an outstanding shoe for a cubicle slave. I was hoping for a slightly better made walking shoe.

Conclusion: I had no issues with 6pm.com. I'm quite happy and satisfied with the purchase for the price I paid. Durability will still have to be assessed in the coming weeks. I thought my previous shoes would only last 6 months and they lasted about 10 years so getting 2 years out of these may not be unreasonable. I saved enough that I might look for a real cheap pair of sneakers/walking shoes or something from a thrift store to rotate with these just to be safe. These shoes will also work for job interviews better than sneakers or walking shoes. I still have a pair of redwings work boots that have a year or 18 months of daily use life in them.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from 6pm.com again if I found another good deal there.
