Damn. I have dress shoes that are 10+ yrs old, but general shoes I get about 2 yrs. That is night and weekend, until they are banged up, then work until the soles are shot.

Boots I get 2 yrs out of also. 1yr working in and wearing around town, then another year untied for the yard and in the shop.
