Bornyo, wippets were a '70s thing. You can go back to Denis Leary's No Cure for Cancer and hear him ragging on them, and that must have been around 1989 or so. I had a roommate who did them, at night when the apartment was quiet you could hear his brain cells snapping like rice krispies.
