Did you see how many "awards" that midget Jules Jordan picked up? He must have sucked off every voter in Porn Valley. If jizz were concrete, Jordan would have a 4-lane highway down his gullet.

KL's tweets help prove that he is still immature and the depth of minutia in his self serving response make me question his accounting as much as the ever changing version from the other side. He wants to be physically confrontational and even puts it all in MMA verse but the one question left unasked was, what exactly did they say about his kid that set him off?

The complaints that she threw a drink in his face seem curious given his own drink in face throwing days when he lobbed one off in the hillbilly's face. And given the bad blood between them, wouldn't a reasonable person simply avoid crossing paths? I'm so sure there was only one path to take and it crossed theirs....

So, while I don't believe any of the accounts are particularly accurate (given the players, the drinking/drugs, and the missing details), the summation is that neither of the Evan's work much in porn so they don't have a big stake in causing problems while KL expects to keep performing for years as he assumes the Dave Cummings roles (he's almost bald) to augment his massage business income. He has way more to lose and should act like it.

Given how many win awards copying his style, male and female directors both, I don't see the need for him to blow anyone. He's never blown me or any of the other voters I know, his flagship titles among the few remaining to offer the most popular performers and more scenes, and he sticks with what people want; all recipes for winning awards.

Contrast that with some who direct "art" porn who then bemoan losing or getting few nominations or those that make titles centering on rape/kidnapping and actually expect to reel in a ton of awards.

Steve's old rants always seemed the product of coke when he was reported to be a heavy user, Bo Kenny likely dropping his ass knowing if he was caught, KL would squeal like a little bitch on anyone he knew. The revisionist history presented in the lengthy interview on TRPWL was significantly scrubbed in his favor but given KL's history with a certain hillbilly, I can understand why he'd get more leeway in a whitewash. They've really done some great reporting overall so while I may not agree with them on certain people, they are so far ahead of their peers it isn't funny (could you imagine getting accurate numbers from either of Kelli's sites or balanced coverage from you know who? never happen...).

And after a nasty little tweet attacking me for taking exception to the meat puppets used in some really lame features by a director I like, Stevie went ahead and blocked me on twitter. That he did not explode in a coke fueled rage and start again with his gun ownership, extensive street fighting abilities, and the rest of his former tirade, gave me hope that he has been dealing with his midlife crisis way better than any of could have predicted some years back.

So, while I'd prefer he use his self professed intellect to discuss such a disagreement like a man rather than hit and run on twitter, I'm okay with him taking baby steps to normalcy. This recent bout of getting in someone's face and tweeting about f'ing people up just shows he is not as far removed from the gold old days as he has led people to believe.

On a side note, for all the claims that The Gardener was his bestest work ever and showed all his talents, just how many awards did it win? It's an easy answer...
