And fer fuck's sake, a little less vitriol with the old man. Yeah, he's incorrect, but he's old. A bit befuddled perhaps, but ultimately harmless and, honestly, quite a decent guy beyond the politics. Save the vitriol for (1) the paid shills, and (2) the folks who hilariously and habitually argue against their own self-interest. You will find both in this thread and throughout the board.

I rag on BDM almost exclusively about guns and it's because the guns from his part of the country wind up killing innocent people in my city, most recently and blatantly two damn good cops. If they stayed down there, I couldn't care less what they did with 'em.
