Her church was also burned down in an unsolved case of arson a few weeks after the election and you'd be hard-pressed to find any mainstream coverage of the event whatsoever.

Personally, I think she was unqualified to be Vice President. I think McCain saw she had a 60%+ approval rating as a female governor in a Republican state and just rolled the dice without properly vetting her. I don't know who the 60% of the population were who supported her because everyone I know hates her, especially women.
