Fake cigars will only last a short while. W/ the embargo lifted, the price of cigars will plummet.
Also, there will soon be an abundance of fully restored 50's cars, causing the prices on them to come down.
Maybe not on the cigars. Since we're the only country participating in the embargo, prices here will probably be about what they are in Asia and Europe.
The 50s cars there aren't really restored in the American sense. Lots of parts home built or for different models that are made to fit just to keep the car going.
Yeah, I don't expect them to come off the can and go right to auction, they gonna stack jalopies in cans and then bring em back here to restore. I could see some retired guy equity loaning a can of 4 cars and then frame off each one in a year, and roll it over.
My point wasn't fully elaborated. The embargo isn't completely lifted and you can only bring back $100 worth of cigars, therefore the majority that you end up seeing for sale will most likely be fake.
It is only the beginning. Now that the door is cracked open, big biddness will be lobbying the hell out of Obammy to blow it wide open. Is he going to let the next POTUS get his palm greased for doing it, or is he going to do it in the next 2 years, as a retirement plan? I think investments will be allowed to happen before 2015 is over.
