That's what I'm getting at know your traditions know your fucking roots..
And fucking know where you come from..!
Dr. Phil, you are. I know exactly where I came from and what my roots are. Growing up I assumed my family were Catholic. Went to tons of Catholic weddings and funerals and my folks always spent a ton of money every year at the Catholic school's auction/ drunkfest. So my tradition, roots, wherever I came from, whatever the fuck you're talking about, is that I came from a family that believed but not to the point of putting a label on it. I'm honestly not too far from "where I came from".
As for the "hypocrisy" of not believing but having my kid in a religious school, it's obviously a concept you can't wrap your head around. The choice of the school had zero to do with the religious aspect of it. It had everything to do with the facts that public schools are shitholes and private schools provide a superior education. I said earlier that the religious aspect of it was a small price to pay, but in reality it's not a price at all. The school fits my kid, and he fits the school. So they pray a bit. Who cares?
I know you can't get this, but I'm sure fbf does. It's very possible to not believe and not hate Christians or even Christianity at the same time. Sure, there are Christians that I do dislike or hate, but that has less to do with their Faith than it does that they're assholes. I mean, look at you. I have no idea what your Faith may or may not be, but it's easy to see that you're a simp. That's on you, not God.
