well I won't work with someone who doesn't have a valid test. It is also based on partial trust as well. Anyone in the industry should know better to not go out and just fuck around with someone without knowing their hygeiene standing. That's why I refuse to work with any talent that i know swings. Such as bisexual britni and others.
I've been lucky so far that I haven't got a STD. AIM did call once to say that I possibly worked with someone within the last three weeks that tested positive for Chlamydia. So I went in to get tested, came out negative but still took the antibiotic. This was towards the beginning of the year. It's a chance taken but at least there's test available to begin with. I enjoy the adult business... the people that make spread rumors and do nothing but ridicule others for every little thing is a different story. But, like I said, it's a chance taken... it's you who chooses whether it's worth taking or not. For me, I'm willing to take the chance with my own precautions.
I don't see talent in the industry regularily getting tests done to do scenes for the adult world any worse than the major population in this world going out partying or doing whatever in life and participating in one night stands, hook ups, or just simply dating someone - having sex and not know their history of sexual partners etc. For all you know you could have had a one night stand all drunk who has chlamydia or etc. And you can't tell me that everyday people go out and get tested and make sure their partners are tested before they get themselves involved in sexual gratification because I worked at a pathology lab for an enough amount of time to realize that there weren't very many STD testing done other than the standard when a girl goes in for a regular papsmear check up. It's rare compared to the number of people out there.
