All of that was predicted when Ms. Roberts laid down the law regarding the comments section but to be fair, when Luke gave up the site to someone that never intended on spending significant time digging for dirt, the inevitable conclusion was written as well. I like Cindi but she had too many irons in the fire to pull off a website like that, what she would post was centered on playing favorites with those who had an axe to grind.

Kelli pushed that to the extreme and ran off most of the commentators, not just moderated the minimal trouble children. Then, as she did at LF itself, she would provide knee jerk reactions to events she wasn't willing to look into. Running stories like how Brazzers was paying something like $50 million for Digital Playground under one of her aliases was as nonsensical as her crusade about Buttman clearly having sex with Summers without bothering to watch the fucking video. Again, in a declining market where many affiliates are cutting back, folding altogether, and/or not paying bills, it doesn't matter how much you think your website is worth if you aren't willing to put in more effort than to be a cut & paste queen hawking whatever cam shows or BS you are paid to run.

Both LIB and LF were gossip websites, not news media, not resources for the downtrodden, just gossip sites. Once you get lazy and are unwilling to spend a few hours digging up dirt not found elsewhere, the end is coming. Trying to convert it into something better isn't going to work as an occasional side hobby either. Reviewing your own movies favorably under an alias or more accurately those for people you work for isn't profitable either, especially after they fuck you over. And if you want a basic valuation model, it is no big secret how much various companies pay to advertise, information to be disclosed in the website sale along with all terms such as duration.

LIB may well return with a remodel any day now but without quality contributors and someone willing to put in the effort to make it work, there is no point.
