As in the past, Jaen allowed Clover back into her life, and the next incident took place a few days later, in Las Vegas.

“He was there working for Naughty America that whole week,” Jaen recalls. “I had a day off so I drove out for the day to spend time with him for our 1 year anniversary.”

“This one, he beat me up in a hotel,” says Jaen. “I was tired and wanted to get rest before driving back to L.A. that very next morning. We had dinner, drinks, gambled… he got caught up gambling and didn’t want to leave the table. I told him I really needed to get to bed. This [was] probably 3:30-4 am already. Once we got back to the hotel room he flipped out on me that I’d ruined his night.”

“I told him to go back downstairs and gamble, but I [would be] sleeping. That’s when everything went south. He dragged me out of the bed by my feet. I hit my head hard on the bed frame and started crying. He started mocking me and said he’d give me a real reason to cry. [He] just started shoving me, hitting me, punching… I fell on the floor and he kicked my stomach, and before he left the room he poured a whole bottle of vodka on my face while I was on the floor crying. Then he threw the bottle at my head.”

“I tried calling for help from the hotel phone. He threw the phone away from me so I didn’t think it went through, but it did. It went through to the Front Desk. It just so happened that the head of hotel was security was standing there, and [the] front desk handed her the phone. She heard everything, or at least enough to come up to the room with 2 other security guards — but Clover bailed already.”

“She called out for everyone in hotel to find him, and they did. When they approached him he ran, and then [Las Vegas] Metro police caught him out front.”
