I disagree with Bornyo on the laziness factor. That haircut looks high maintenance as hell. I'm kind of lazy; that's why I have my hair chemically straightened and long. Short hair needs to be groomed more often or else it looksawkward. With long hair, just put it up in a pony tail when you need it out of the way for manual labor or changing your baby's diapers.
