When I had glass bongs I never let anyone use one. It took two times of some douche getting stoned and breaking them that only plastic bongs came out for guests. Its never the douchebags fault either. They always want to claim its cheap glass or defective. Glassware was really expensive around here back in the 90s. I guess good pieces still are.

Bad idea. Alcohol will absorb/trap/otherwise prevent the fun cannabinoids from reaching your brain.

^^^Oh, ok, maybe. When I saw the one I wanted, it was at the very last booth in the indoor market. When I came back the next year, the place selling pipes was gone. Maybe they've brought them back now that weed is legal.
