I guess a lot of other people have been wondering about making sous vide bud butter because there are tons of articles about it now. Last year there were none at all.

Basically, it goes like this:

An ounce of weed goes into a blender with some water until it's all ground up. You add that to a mason jar with a pound of butter and put it into the sous vide water bath at 185° for 6 hours. Then you strain it well into another mason jar, pressing it down hard to get all the butter out. Cool it in the fridge overnight and the butter will all be solidified on top and ready to use. One site I saw used the butter to roast a chicken and make bread putting, which sounds absolutely disgusting to me.
