American Horror Story: Freak Show.

Holy fuck, this thing is beyond. First of all, it has a ton of references to Tod Browning's Freaks. The cast is full of human oddities, both real and CGI'd. The set design and art direction is fucking beautiful. Tonight, Jessica Lange did a Marlene Dietrich version of Bowie's Life on Mars as a stage performance. It was the most beautiful thing I've seen on tv in recent memory.

I watched the second season in the Asylum and a bit of the first season in the house. I have not seen season three with the witches.

Oh yeah, Kathy Bates is in it and does the most awesome Maryland/Delaware accent.
