First time I thought it may be BP I drove two blocks to the CVS drugstore which has a free machine. I recall it was 160/115 and none too good.

When I called the Doctor's office the nurse/whoever answers the scheduling phone was condescending like the drugstore machine was wrong.

As to "caring less"... I was able to care less by quitting working for the asshole I worked for and going out on my own. I'd say I have more stress now but it's my stress. It's hard to explain but it makes a difference.
