Any doctor now a days will give you andro or t-gel. Testosterone Enanthate is the best if you can find the right doc.

I get Tes. injections once a month. It tapers off near the end of the month but makes a big difference in drive and my overall energy and well being. If you're low I highly recommend it. I can't imagine a doc giving it if you in normal range. I started about 2 years ago.

Yeah, I am pretty sure most of the guys tryna get TRT exemptions in MMA are on it because they fucked up their bodies taking gear when they were young; you can only do so many cycles before you fuck up.

I used Axiron for about a month ealier this year. I had to stop when I had my blood pressure checked and it was 170/120.

It kind of sucks because it was great stuff. It's not like a jekyl and hyde transformation, but you do notice it. For me, I felt like my brain was much sharper. I was also more level headed, but at the same, more ready to throw down and fight a motherfucker.

That blood pressure thing is a bitch. Mine wasn't that high, but it was way up there. I know it was job-related stress and my Doctor told me to try "caring less". I quit, my BP dropped, and I should be off meds after my next check-up.

They call it the silent killer but that's bullshit- I felt my ears ringing and all sorts of symptoms. The first day I went thinking I had an issue the Doctor bitched out the girl/nurse up front in my presence: "he called in saying he could feel he had high blood pressure and you made him wait three weeks for an appointment, he should have died!".

as an aside, i really dunno what to make of roids etc. my friend was on a ton and he came off with pct and is as happy as a clam. everyone says you'll lose all your gains when you cease, but i know guys who kept a fair amount of lean mass. i also know guys who fucked up, but lets face it people don't follow directions when they take stuff. i have a feeling most of the disasters are the fault of the end user and not the product.

I got on one of those blood pressure machines you used to see in malls or at health fairs with the automatic cuff and the digital display while I was whacked on meth. I was above the machines range to read.

First time I thought it may be BP I drove two blocks to the CVS drugstore which has a free machine. I recall it was 160/115 and none too good.

When I called the Doctor's office the nurse/whoever answers the scheduling phone was condescending like the drugstore machine was wrong.

As to "caring less"... I was able to care less by quitting working for the asshole I worked for and going out on my own. I'd say I have more stress now but it's my stress. It's hard to explain but it makes a difference.

Edibles just don't seem to work for me. I love the idea and everything, and the techniques are now to the point that you taste the food, not a mouthful of skunk. We brought home some tasty stuff from Seattle Hempfest, but the only thing I really got any effect from was a peanut butter cup.

That said, we're usually pretty ripped when we try them. Maybe starting from a reasonable straight point might make for a more scientific experiment.

Yup. Last decent edible I had a two day hangover. Eyesight was fucked for half a day and reaction times were low. Concentration and creativity were off the fucken charts though. I keep meaning to try out my sous vide machine for making butter. I'm not sure of the proper technique, but I thought an ounce of weed and a pound of butter vacuum sealed together, then dropped into a water bath at 183 degrees for maybe 6 hours. That should extract absolutely everything with no loss.

Butane blast is the only way to go. lots of instructions on YouTube.

All this talk about edibles reminds me of eating mushrooms years ago. They were seasonal and inconsistent as hell as they were being grown naturally at the University of Georgia's dairy science farms. "The Man" would come up from Athens and we'd get a bag at our apartment in college and all eat a cap and wait...nothing...then eat a stem or two...nothing...eat one more cap and in about 15 minutes (total time from first cap about 1h15m) we'd be tripping balls. I always enjoyed that high but never learned how to predict or control it.

I guess a lot of other people have been wondering about making sous vide bud butter because there are tons of articles about it now. Last year there were none at all.

Basically, it goes like this:

An ounce of weed goes into a blender with some water until it's all ground up. You add that to a mason jar with a pound of butter and put it into the sous vide water bath at 185° for 6 hours. Then you strain it well into another mason jar, pressing it down hard to get all the butter out. Cool it in the fridge overnight and the butter will all be solidified on top and ready to use. One site I saw used the butter to roast a chicken and make bread putting, which sounds absolutely disgusting to me.

And apparently you can mix the butter with maltodextrin to create a powder which will melt on your tongue. Interestering.

Too much hassle. A nice water bong, with ice water in it, is still the best way to smoke reefer. Only thing I ever heard that sounded better was a buddy made a bong out of a pickle jar and packed it with snow.

The first time I got stoned it was off a bong made from the lung respirator of our weed hookup's best friend who had recently died. He mentioned how he was working on a gravity bong made from a missile fuselage retrieved from the military testing grounds. The idea was to fill the chamber with smoke and drop a bowling ball from the top and it would force the smoke out a tube and into your lungs. My favorite bong was this little tiny one I had made from a mini Pepsi bottle. I left it back in Washington State with a friend before I drove back up to Alaska after college.
