I use my dishwasher all the time because it sterilizes the dishes. Then I fly off to Greece for a month every year and my aunt washes everything with smelly tap water and lets it air dry. She leaves food sitting out all night unrefrigerated and we'll eat it the next day. And no one ever gets sick somehow.


LOL when you've been eating like that for so long you build a tolerance. It's great for keeping the immune system resilient. I don't do that though because it drives me nuts when things aren't put away or in it's place. Rubber dish washing gloves work great if you can't handle the scalding hot water. Growing up, family would raise a stink if they heard of anyone using a dishwasher.
