Donny Long wanted to protest crossover performers in 2008. I did not agree with him and wrote "Live and let live" on his board. Anyone who understands English would understand that to be a message of tolerance and open-mindedness.
I can be friends with someone and not agree with everything they say, think, and do.
So what exactly was the point of posting it somewhere where DL would read it?
Donny asked me to sign it and, in front of him, I wrote how I felt. It was a polite way of disagreeing with someone to their face. He didn't freak out (like some people seem to do). He just read it and went about his business.
