Tobacco pipes. Bath salts. Herbal relaxation products. Fucking nonsense. It is. I'm the first to admit it. One the one hand, it's something I joke about, but on the other it's just the way the business is. I'd like to be able to use the "b" word, but when you operate in a grey area, you do what you have to do. As for bath salts, that's some pretty fucked up shit I want nothing to do with. I don't give a shit about the herbal products. I do know a lot of the shops I deal took big financial hits when they banned the first generation of them.

barry you seen THESE bad motherfuckers?. they're supposed to be like the dyson of the bon...waterpipe world. Hey, with German plastic, how can you go wrong? I'm a big believer in the diffusion stems tho. I thought they were just a scam, but they actually work. I can take gigantic hits and not have a partial stroke from intense coughing. I've thought about doing a smokeware thread. Maybe a project for the weekend.

I used ice cubes in my bong to make the hits easier. A friend of mine used to have a bong made out of a mayo jar he'd pack with snow in the winter time.

I basically agree ^ Just not enough variety and pretty vanilla but you can construct some decent sandwiches with a little thought.

Yep. Right now is prime boat time though, other than right before Christmas when people need that holiday money. In another month boats will start going back up through the Spring and Summer.

I basically agree ^ Just not enough variety and pretty vanilla but you can construct some decent sandwiches with a little thought. Subway's issue is that they are bullshit. "Eat Fresh" is the slogan for a place that serves pre sliced meat, pre cooked chicken that needs to be microwaved, and pre sliced vegetables. You want fresh you go to a deli where they have meat slicing machines and watch them shave off some roast beef for you, same with the cheese and the vegetables. There is nothing REMOTELY fresh about subway.

I bought this. I'm just waiting for it to show up. It is a kit meant to upgrade these joysticks that use a shitty PS/2 (think a keyboard cable) to a USB jack. I wish Frankie lived close by so we could do some fighting games. Cannot wait to play some Street Fighter Alpha 3, King of Fighters '98 and some MUGEN stuff. Capcom vs SNK.

I haven't been to a Subway sandwich shop in years, but I keep meaning to go and get a breakfast sandwich to mix things up. I actually went to Taco Bell for breakfast the other day just to try something different. It wasn't great, but the Sausage & Egg crunchwrap was both greasy & crunchy in a good way. I'm someone who could happily live on nothing but breakfast sandwiches.
Next, I want to go to Quiznos to try their Lobster sub. 51% lobster! Of which, I'm sure, 0% is real lobster and is instead langostino. But I still feel like trying one.

@frank. I never really liked the marvel vs capcom series. And I worked in an arcade for years and could play whenever I wanted. My issue was that it was too damn busy, constantly changing backgrounds and stuff.
I like the Neo Geo stuff, almost any samurai showdown and all he king of fighters. Which is why I dig cap vs snk games.
And soul calibur games and tekken can choke on a cock.
Virtua fighter games are okay though.

The game just has too damn much going on in it. It's hard to have a cogent strategy and master a character when the screen turns into a blue cyclone every few moves.
I can pull standing 720s with Zangief and E Honda's 720 throw as well. I don't need games with laser guns and missiles or meteor showers.
EDIT. I like mastering games and won't play games where people are liable to win by dumb luck button mashing.

Anyway this is the MUGEN version I am downloading...
875 characters (plus some more because some of the characters have alternate versions of themselves) 352 stages
Note: Some of the characters are custom made, and don’t actually appear in the game I listed them in, but are related in a way. Also, some characters have alternate versions of themselves that you can access by holding the start key while selecting the character. Keep in mind, some of these characters are still beta, and probably won’t behave correctly 100% or will be missing moves.
137 characters from The King of Fighters Which also includes NeoGeo Battle Coliseum, Garou Mark of the Wolves, Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury, SNK vs. Capcom (SNK side), and probably some others. I couldn’t tell which character belonged to which game because many of them look and play very similarly, so I just clumped them all together. 7 characters from The King of Fighters XIII Rock Howard is a high res edit of normal Rock Howard. He’s not actually in King of Fighters XIII. 18 characters from SNK vs. Capcom (Capcom Side) 37 characters from Samurai Shodown 20 characters from The Last Blade Some of these characters are actually from NeoGeo Battle Coliseum, and the control scheme will be different. 16 characters from Rage of the Dragons 16 characters from Power Instinct 44 characters from Capcom vs. SNK 12 characters from Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix More commonly known by the Japanese name, Pocket Fighter 27 characters from Street Fighter Alpha You’ll notice basically none of the characters here are faithful to the original. Let’s just say that the ones that are faithful to the original are also crap. 23 characters from Street Fighter 3 48 characters from Marvel vs. Capcom 19 characters from Darkstalkers Demitri’s signature move Midnight Bliss actually does work on a few of the characters. Only a small handful though. Also, you’d expect that all the Darkstalkers characters would be Blissable, but they’re not. It’s sad. 13 characters from Red Earth 11 characters from Nitro Royale 10 characters from Waku Waku 7 Roomi is from Galaxy Fight 11 characters from Asura Blade 11 characters from Sengoku Basara [Known in the US as Devil Kings, but only 1 game came out here so it’s more popularly known as Sengoku Basara 28 characters from Guilty Gear 24 characters from Eternal Fighter Zero 15 characters from Touhou 14 characters from Big Bang Beat 30 characters from Melty Blood 20 characters from Arcana Heart 30 characters by Phantom of the Server Actually, it’s by Phantom of the Server and various people who copied his style. These are edited characters where the author took all the best aspects of that character from the various games they appeared in and put them into one character. 11 characters by LaQuak These characters have a huge move list that flow together into long combo strings. Hard to master. 15 characters by Kohaku Since Touhou characters are projectile spammers, Kohaku edited them to be primary melee attackers, much like the more traditional fighting game characters. It also includes some other characters too, other than Touhou. All characters here are transformed into 6 button characters 16 characters by RajaaBoy Moves have been changed quite a bit for these characters. Also, every character gets a new thing called Vigormode where they lose their supers but every special move becomes an EX attack. 7 characters by Gu Mostly edited Touhou characters, with a few Eternal Fighter Zero characters made to behave more like Touhou characters. 3 characters by M3 These are edited to be 4 button characters 65 original characters They’re either edited from existing characters or completely drawn from scratch. Props to these guys for their creativity and effort. 104 characters in this section If the list of characters for a series was too short to merit its own section, I put them here. Some of the characters here never actually appeared in a fighting game, so these are original creations as well (or at least edited from an existing thing). Here’s the list of serieses (?) that made it: Ai Mai Mi! Strawberry Egg Arcade Gamer Fubuki Asuka 120% BlazBlue Comic Party Crimson Alive Daraku Tenshi: The Fallen Angels Dead or Alive Devil May Cry Dragon Ball Z Dungeon and Fighter: Slap-up Party Family Guy Far East of Eden Fate/Stay Night Final Fantasy 7 Fire Emblem Fist of the North Star Ghosts ‘n Goblins Golden Axe Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Inuyasha JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure The internet...I guess? KFC Kabuki Klash Killer Instinct Klonoa The Legend of Zelda Lucky Star Lunatic Bellvet Magic Knight Rayearth Mai-HiME Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro McDonalds The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Metal Slug Microsoft Million KNights Vermillion Mortal Kombat Neo Human Casshern Persona Pokemon The Queen of Heart Ragnarok Online Rival Schools Seinarukana The Simpsons Sonic the Hedgehog Spectral Force Streets of Rage Super Mario Bros. Tales Series Tekken Title Mitei DS Toukidenshou Angel Eyes Umineko no Naku Koro ni Valkyrie no Densentsu Vanguard Princess Variable Geo Vocaloid
2 joke characters Rare Akuma. He’s nearly invincible, but he’s also hilarious. The Kid. If you ever played I Wanna Be The Guy before, you’ll know exactly why this guy’s the weakest in the roster. 7 games 8 bosses

Believe it or not there isn't a deli where you can get anything fresh within 45 miles of where I live. The best sandwiches can be had at little country stores but are limited to ham and bologna usually. Can't beat a thick sliced baloney sammich with onion and mayo on white ! :-) The Mennonite place up the road does have good sandwiches but it's the same kind of deli meat as Subway for the most part.

If you need me to smuggle some Boar's Head to Cousin Fucker, Kentucky, we can spit the profits. You have a source for pork roll down there? That shits like crack, compared to baloney being coke cut 50/50 with laxative, for a hog meat junkie, bacon being the heroin.

Goddamn I've seen it all... Dude posted pictures of his Camry on XPT. Hey man, not everyone can be a bougie redneck, flaunting his Jaguar, pistols, and retriever. Some people is poor folk, happy to share something nice they got. As for the Souse, I don't know. I've seen head cheese, but I got no clue if they got the pickled in vinegar variety.

Makes cars look more upmarket, esp if you're on a budget. And tint raises up the look, too. Will look even better with tint. Sidenote: I hate when ppl eat in my car without even asking first.

Yeah my mom had a Camry too. Loved it.
PXP my ride had the "glamour" of the Lexus's with Brandon as a target. A shitty old tractor for comic relief and again, Brandon as a target.
The Jag was just a damned bonus- like hitting a pick three that ends up costing you a thousand dollars.
Not the same at all in my opinion but if backdoorman is proud of his Camry pre-tint then more power to him. Let's see him PXP it and then I won't harumph. Who am I to judge or not judge? Then again it's XPT so he can post what he wants and I'm not expected to withhold my opinion of same.

After talking to the seller, I drove over 5 hours to look at a 1978 Cardinal 177RG for sale. When I got there it had been sold. For about 15minutes I was sure the guy was just joking with me since he knew I was coming. I wasn't even looking for a 177. Been looking at 182RG's or Bonanzas, but the price was outstanding, so I thought I'd make the trip and had talked myself into buying it if it checked out OK. So I've been in a pissed mood today. Same model, different plane:

This is the one I'm looking at now. It has a useful load of 1,250 lbs and cruises about 185 mph. Unfortunately it is about 3.5 times the price of the 177RG, and because of insurance requirements, I probably couldn't get a loan if I can't insure it, so... it'll be end of the year at the earliest (if ever). Stinson would make a good hobby plane or weekend puddlejumper, but I'd rather get a Aviat Huskey if that was what I was looking at.

I signed on to apologize to BDM. I was in a pretty foul mood yesterday. All day.
I kinda expected to have been castigated for my comments and had intentions to apologize regardless. So I was surprised there was not more backlash.
Congrats on your new car BDM. I know how good that new car smell feels once you get past the buyers remorse on the second day. It's a damned fine feeling. I can't blame you for being proud. I bought a series of used cars through my life and actually took it as a point of pride that I'd let "some other sucker take the depreciation" (Barney Fife quote when he bought a used car from the cooked old lady). I had many nondescript brand-new company cars but they meant nothing. They also meant I didn't have to depend on my own used or cheap cars to make my living because my company paid for one.
And I also remember my first brand new car, and the ones since. Not saying this is by any means your first but the feeling is the same with all of them.

That's a nice looking plane. I don't know anything about Stinsons other than they are tail-draggers and my retired mechanical engineer neighbor keeps one (actually two) at his house and has his own airstrip. (Country living, not an airpark). He has to be one of the oldest pilots in the southeast and is certified as a mechanic as well. I never flew an RG plane and I guess the sexiest thing I flew was a Piper Archer. Compared to the 152 trainer and 172's it was like a sports car.
