Writing a message opposing the narrow-mindedness of the board can be taken one way and one way only. Anyone who knows me knows that I have a "live and let live" philosophy. There is no contradiction in what I say or what I do, no matter how you try to spin it.

"Live and let live" means everyone is free to do what they want as long as it doesn't bring harm to others. Donny has freedom to make all the speech he wants and the answer to hate speech is more speech. If everyone wrote messages of inclusiveness on his board, it would take away his whole point.

At the end of the day, that board had zero impact on anything and the issues continue to resurface each time there is an HIV scare in the industry.
