Donny Long wanted to protest crossover performers in 2008. I did not agree with him and wrote "Live and let live" on his board. Anyone who understands English would understand that to be a message of tolerance and open-mindedness.

Right. So you tried to cover both sides. You signed his board so he could claim you're support and then mollified it with something you could spin into a caveat.

It was very, very clear to anyone who understands English and/or politics what was meant by signing that hate petition.

Oddly, in the 49 or so years I remember clearly, I've never had a friend who asked me. So either I don't befriend douches or they don't trust me with the douche petitions.

Can't confirm the times before I was 5. After 3 or 3 1/2 I could have read it. I could have likely printed my name then. I think it's 3rd grade and 8 y/o before I could "sign".

Writing a message opposing the narrow-mindedness of the board can be taken one way and one way only. Anyone who knows me knows that I have a "live and let live" philosophy. There is no contradiction in what I say or what I do, no matter how you try to spin it.

"Live and let live" means everyone is free to do what they want as long as it doesn't bring harm to others. Donny has freedom to make all the speech he wants and the answer to hate speech is more speech. If everyone wrote messages of inclusiveness on his board, it would take away his whole point.

At the end of the day, that board had zero impact on anything and the issues continue to resurface each time there is an HIV scare in the industry.

Donny asked me to sign it and, in front of him, I wrote how I felt. It was a polite way of disagreeing with someone to their face. He didn't freak out (like some people seem to do). He just read it and went about his business.

Let me give you a little train of thought flow chart from my reading of your post.

You post "Anyone who understands English..." Now if there is one thing Donny has proven with his dealings on this site in the past it is that he has no understanding of the English language. Hence me asking the question in my previous post.

Ahh....gotcha. I don't agree with a lot of what Donny did and he has to live with the consequences. He was always fair with me in my dealings with him. Such is life. Such is porn.
