Carmella Bing, representing herself in an Orange County courtroom on Jan. 22, pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor possession of a meth pipe, a first-time offense that can be wiped from her record if she meets certain conditions over the next three months.

Carmella Bing was apprehended in an Irvine backyard early this past Dec. 5 and cited for drug paraphernalia possession by Irvine police that had followed a stolen Mercedes Benz she was a passenger in.

The 31-year-old Los Angeles resident was cited, booked and released but not otherwise linked to an identity theft investigation sparked because the car stolen out of Panorama City contained various phony credit cards and driver's licenses, Irvine police said at the time. The driver was among three men who would be arrested on various felony theft counts.
