Mark Ashley R.I.P.


There you go hows that for an attention getter? I'm still here but a lot of time has passed since my last blog entry and a lot of shit has happened both in the porn industry and for me personally. First, I'd like to shout out to most of the girls I've had the privilege to share a set with. I owe my career to the many requests from amazing female talent to have me on set with them. I have some of the best memories because of you. Thank you and god bless.

The reason I'm starting today with Mark Ashley R.I.P. is I'm saying goodbye to the old Mark Ashley. Not the adult performer part of myself, but the politician that used to make nice with everybody to stay working. Fuck that shit...

I have been paying a lot more attention to the porn business and press elements of this industry and I have to say this: I HEAR MIKE SOUTH, ROB BLACK and ADULT FYI loud and clear. I will heed Rob's challenge for a top performer to speak out to the industry. I really don't know where to start. My feelings about how this industry has changed is this - It has turned into a cluster fuck, circular firing squad led by a fraudulent talent association that uses an agency license to hide behind manipulating and bullying the adult talent into being submissive robots and backed by a monolithic shell corporation bent on stealing everybody's work, dreams and sacrifices. I'm going to leave it at that for now. My back is against the wall and I'll have a lot more to say, believe me. Stay tuned - NO MORE MR NICE GUY!

My Comments on the Porn Pundits


Mike South: the first thing I would like to say is Thanks Mike! You speak on behalf of the talent and anybody who does that on a regular basis is someone I can sit and have a beer with right now. His expose' on Manwin has validated mine and a lot of other talent perceptions of the major goings on in this business. Ones thing's for sure, THEY ARE NOT FUCKING PORNOGRAPHERS!!! In fact, they're the furthest thing from it. Amateur directors, amateur staff more concerned with corporate ass kissing than running a set. I remember when sets were chill, fun places to be on and now its a vibe of fake smiles (please don't fire me) and gay politics. I'll rip these clowns apart further down the road.

Rob Black: The only reason he sounds crazy is the truth about the porn industry really is that insane and maddening.... He's a fucking soldier. Honesty has my respect right now so keep going and remember that the closer you get to the truth, the more you will be fucked with by the powers that be. Trust me I know I've been pushed out to the fringes for simply being a stand up guy in porn.

Adult FYI: Mostly ambulance chasing reporting in the past ,Gene Ross has elevated his post to exposing the rats, thieves and scum that have stolen the industry from the performers. Good Job.

Rants on LATATA


This post I think I'll devote to a subject that has been getting some attention lately. Agencies. It's a touchy subject for discussion publicly mainly because most performers are worried about backlash in the form of economic reprisals from a few of the agencies. If you want my honest opinion, the porn industry needs to do away with this scam. You think an association of adult talent agencies has our best interests at heart? Really? Before I get into public slandering of a bunch of sociopathic bullies and manipulators, let's get right to the heart of the matter. The money.

For starters they take an agency commission of 15-20% of talent income. That means for every 1 million dollars doled out to pay talent, $200.000 of that goes to pay someone with no real talent to speak of other than sitting on their asses in front of a computer and doing what 90% of the industry talent used to do for themselves. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. We've all heard stories of buying out of the agency for a large fee. Are these contracts even legally binding? And what about the constant blacklisting that goes on against any talent that dare question their authority? Or for petty reasons that have more to do with pushing independent contractors out of the way to make room for their shitty b-list talent that's too scared to rock the boat. How many of you listen to the same bullshit that comes out of their mouths (you need to lose weight, you need to get breast augmentation, you have to do this scene even though you are tired and sore, we have to hold your rate, you have to start doing anal scenes,etc.) and wanted to throttle them? How often do they get a needle in their arm and piss in a cup to test for work? How often do you see their lazy asses in the gym to stay fit for work? And thats just the shit I've been hearing for a few years now. Did they prevent Mr. Syphillis er Mr. Marcus from going to work with a forged test? Did they prevent the condom law from going into effect? Did they improve conditions on set? No they didn't. They put 20% of our money into their own pockets and tried to tell us that we need them more than they need us. Well now we are in the middle of a crisis in our business and are they doing anything except lining their pockets? Fuck no. They've trashed the industry to the point where the girls are more hookers than entertainers. And that requires a lot of grooming to achieve. Most people are born with a little self esteem, these jack offs attack any sign of common sense and self preservation.

My experience with agents is summed up like this - they want a docile bitch to go along with whatever hack set they send you to. And then they want a dumb dog to just shut the fuck up and do the job. I've been lied about rate, who I'm working with, and what type of scene I'll be doing and I'm supposed to just go along with waiting a month for a check with their cut taken off. I have never authorized any checks to be written to me by a a talent agency. They seem to think this is ok. What a joke. And they are also getting really efficient at grooming the girls away from any real communication with the other talent. That would breed discontent. It's no wonder I only last a few scenes with an agent and then bail...

The agency licensing and bonding procedure they try to legitamize themselves through wasn't designed for porn. It was designed for agents who deal with SAG or million dollar contracts in mainstream movies or television. We don't make enough and most of our careers aren't long enough to have some fucking parasite attached to us. And the shitty thing is they have taken so much power for themselves that most people think they are powerless to do something about it. Remember LATATA is only a recent thing and judging by the way the industry is going now I'd say it's time for these parasite pimp scumbags to hit the fucking road. They've had their chance and they fucked up. Remember everyone - YOU CAN BOOK YOUR OWN SCENES!!

Porn wasn't always like this. It was Jim South and 3 skeezy pimps until 2006. Most girls would do 5 scenes and figure out that they could book their own scenes and dictate the terms. Now you do it out of obligation. The only way to do porn is for yourself. Thats it.. Another way it's changed is the girls had waaaaay more say in who they worked with. You knew who would show up be cool and rip through a scene with no problem. You knew that if you worked with an A list male talent, you weren't going to catch an infection or be treated like shit. You knew he wasn't injecting his dick with Caverject to maintain wood. Now you get some agency/Manwin propped up fraud that never had to really prove himself to begin with. There was natural order. The strongest guys with the strongest girls. The performers had a say in what was going on. Now it's petty grooming and guilt by an agent. I don't want to fuck an agency. I want to fuck the girl I'm working with. The director used to actually be concerned with who wanted to fuck who. Nobody cared.It was that simple. Now it's a fucking joke. And the joke is on you....

Instincts


I think a good subject for me to write about now is instincts. You know that feeling you get just before something good or bad is going to happen? When you listen to your guts and not your mind? I have a little story to tell anybody who cares to listen.

I was booked for a group scene in L A. last spring. It was supposed to be a 4 guy on 4 girls. Big company, big director and big name porn stars . Big pornstar paycheck. Blah, blah, blah, Big deal. I drove all the way there from Vegas. I got there and to make a long story short, I started the scene with one of the girls. It didn't get past the bj. It just didn't feel right and I felt the need to just get the fuck out of there. I went home a little upset about the loss of income that day but something didn't seem right to me.

A few months later the news came out about Mr. Marcus contracting syphilis and forging his STD tests. Guess who was in that scene I walked away from? Mr. Marcus. Guess who let his instincts guide him the fuck out of there? Mark Ashley. Guess who isn't led around by the nose by some retarded agent or director? Mark Ashley. Guess who didn't freak out and have to rush to the clinic in a panic and get tested? Me! ALWAYS TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS! FUCK EVERYONE ELSE!! The mind, heart, cock and ego can be very deceptive in this business. You have to go with your gut feeling even if every cell in your body says go. I've had more than one GM, director or agent ride my ass because I've noticed some of the girls seem on drugs, are worn out or a little funky. Don't fucking punish me because I state the obvious. I've earned the right after 1100+ scenes to set standards for myself. It's shit like this that has caused a lot of conflict with me and the powers that be in porn. Don't give a fuck - trust your instincts and take care of yourself.

It’s Time for a Porn Revolt

The head of LATATA, Derek Hay, is a British national living in this country. Peter Ackworth is a British national living in this country. Fabian Thylmann is a German national. Ferez Antoon, the original owner of Manwin/Brazzers is a United Arab Emirates national. Raul Christian owner of Creampie.com and others is Romanian. I could go on and on about a few directors but I think I'll stick to the major players right now. Currently the biggest power brokers in porn aren't even from this country. The new production formula is to produce porn in the U.S and distribute worldwide via a host site not even based in this country. Pretty lame, right?

For starters, without this country these assholes are nothing. We are the biggest consumers of porn. We have by far the largest talent pool, and we wrote the book on porn production. And yet they use our resources for their benefit and gain while collecting outrageous commissions from talent,circumvent our regulations and tax law, make massive profits overseas and hide the money in offshore shell corporations. What scum ... They take massive profits out of the porn and U.S. economy,take agency fees from talent and don't put back into our economy, steal content via tube sites and generally harass and intimidate us whenever we step out of line.

Personally I have been sexually harassed by one of these players for the promise of work. Of course I didn't allow this to happen but you better believe I wasn't hired by this producer. Yes, it really has gotten that bad in porn valley. A bunch of fucking foreign creeps imposing their shitty view of sex and politics on us and laughing all the way to a bank in Cyprus or Montreal or some backwards poor tax haven country. Anybody that has worked in this industry longer than 5 years knows what I'm talking about. They look down on us. They think we are a bunch of dumb fuck whores who deserve to be fucked over and ripped off. They are smug ,snotty and think they are superior to us. So far judging by the current state of affairs they are right. Most talent just bent over and let these guys fuck us out of our right to dictate the terms of our sets, our money, and our freedom to expand our own careers. John Stagliano, supposedly the last bastion of credibility in the business has a net distribution deal with Gamma a host site based in Montreal. If that's what he's up to, maybe Stag should pack his bags and fucking move to Montreal then. As far as I am concerned he's a traitor to this business. HE WOULD AMOUNT TO SHIT WITHOUT THIS COUNTRY!! All of these players mentioned above would not have succeeded without the good ol' U.S.A. And yet we get treated like we are the foreigners . Last I checked Los Angeles is a part of this country. These pricks act like L.A. is their country. I say instead of dumping tea into the harbor, maybe we should dump these clowns off the Santa Monica pier (I mean that figuratively, not literally). It's one thing to come over here and pull a petty scam and then leave. It's a whole different story when you set up shop here and make a career off of making a mockery of the porn community and our government. A British citizen owns a historical military armory in San Francisco snorts coke openly there, fires weapons and gets filthy rich making content on a daily basis that one of our own citizens(Rob Black)went to prison for. My father served in the Navy. My brother is in the Coast Guard. I'm personally insulted by the nerve and the disrespect shown to one of our historical sites by this British scum. What the fuck is the city of San Francisco thinking? Deport this asshole...

The same goes for Derek Hay. He openly has hatred for all of us. And this hatred manifests itself in the form of ridiculous agency commissions,constant blacklisting of literally anyone that isn't a part of LATATA or chooses to be an independent contractor. His negative influence on the business is profound. Do you think a hostile takeover by Manwin/Brazzers would have been possible without his help? Compliance among talent for their bullshit amateur sets took a lot of time and grooming to achieve. Most of us could smell that rat infested ship coming a long time ago. He made sure enough of our noses were plugged not to notice the fact that we were being taken over by foreign money launderers. He is a sociopath and a bully. He grooms his girls into a poor self image as a way to exert power over them. And then he charges outrageous fees to talent that wants to separate themselves from his agency. He will lie cheat and steal to get his way. Another example of someone who really didn't have the talent to begin with(we all used to make jokes about how he had to use caverject to maintain an erection for his scenes). No wonder he hates me,I'm a natural born savage. He seeks to make the industry in his own image:fake,stale,no talent and paying him to exist in porn. He literally thinks he can make porn all in his image. A true enemy of natural talent. And that's just the tip. Allegations of massive pimping and pandering have driven talent to the point of being more hookers than entertainers. Fuck him. Those who follow him are destined for misery at his profit... Another British dickhead that needs to be deported...

Fabian Thylmann. Where do I start? A broke moderately talented webmaster from Germany all of a sudden is worth close to $300 million overnight? Sitting under house arrest awaiting charges by his own government on tax evasion and providing porn to minors. Can you say straw man for a cartel? Has a head office in Frankfurt that is empty. Lists a home address at his mothers house. WTF? Another example of how fucked this industry has gotten. For starters,he is supposedly running a huge porn company that produces content on our soil,and then filters it out to the rest of the world all from the comfort of living large in Europe. Really? I think he realized soon after he established Brazzers as a student in Montreal,the only way to beat U.S. porn producers and talent was to steal from us. He used all of our world class talent and hard work via tubesites to drive traffic to his sub-standard product. He had to give our superior product away for free so the only thing left to pay for is his crap. Who knows where his money comes from? You think the government of the U.A.E. gives a shit? TIME FOR TALENT TO REVOLT!! This is our country not theirs. This is our industry,not theirs. It's a matter of pride. I don't suck eurofag dick for work. I don't suck middle eastern dick for work. I'm sure a lot of talent is going through what I'm going through right now. Not keeping me working is a big mistake for a lot of people. My name, reputation and legacy are at stake. Watch out bitches. All I have left is my name, my family and my training. I'm ready to take it to the streets if I have to... It's my country. Fuck them.

AHF+FSC+LATATA+AB 332 = Dumbfuckery at It’s Finest


These organizations are next on my chopping block. Why? Because they all masquerade as advocating for the talent while furthering their own agendas. In my opinion they are all equally pimps.

AHF: Michael Weinstien and company would like you to believe they are on the talents side. Really? He never asked me or took a survey among the talent for our input into the condom debate. If he were a buddhist monk who took no money for his cause I might believe him. I'm always skeptical where there's a lot of money involved. My theory is that he's just put there as a wedge to kick a bunch of obnoxious pimps and whores out of town. He gratefully soaks up all the media attention. Why not? It puts more money into his organization. Do you really think anybody in a huge nasty city like Los Angeles gives a fuck about porn performers wearing condoms? I think there's a few issues from the past that led to this. The attack on porn through permits is a way to tell us to shut the fuck up and quit being a public nuisance. What caused a permit moratorium in Ventura county recently? Was it shooting without condoms? No, it was some idiots moaning and groaning during a shoot for every family in the neighborhood to hear. Isn't the first rule of any sex related work being discrete? We all know it's going to be very hard to enforce. LAPD doesn't want to do it. The fire department doesn't want to do it and the LA board of health and CAL-OSHA only operate on complaints. It's just petty harassment meant to send us a message...

They keep repeating the 24 cases of HIV in porn since 2004. Really? That is a bald faced lie which even the LA times retracted. Yet, he still repeats this over and over as if it were fact. How would he know if he's never seen the medical records from AIM? No one has, because it's illegal for a clinic to disclose any medical information without an individual supeona for each medical file. He props up a B list talent in Cameron Reid who supposedly got infected while performing in a gay scene with condoms. Huh? He's rallying for condoms in porn for our safety and his recent poster boy got HIV while doing a condom only scene? How does that make sense? Does anyone really believe Darren James got infected by female talent in Brazil? I think he's not being honest about his sexual practices. I think it's a really sad thing when an organization that is supposed to be educating the public about the disease contradicts itself like that. It's dangerous to the public. As a matter of fact, when a non profit organization involves itself heavily into politics like they have, it shreds all their credibility.

FSC: obviously a poorly organized front for Manwin. They are as connected to the needs of the performers like I'm a front runner for the mayor of Los Angeles. It's a joke. Flimsy old free speech arguments from 1978 aren't going to help us now. They handled this condom issue like total amateurs. They handed this argument to AHF on a silver platter.

LATATA: A self serving pimp factory. I'm getting tired of ranting about them. You know how I feel about this organization. Another easy dish for activists to dine on. Too blatant and corrupt to last in the long run.

AB 332. Porn has always been an easy cause for politicians to capitalize on. It's an easy platform that gets the public's attention and in Isadore Halls case (D-Los Angeles) I'm sure it led to campaign donations from AHF. Never trust a politician when it comes to sex and porn. They're all hypocrites.

When I started in this business back in 2001 the condom issue wasn't an issue. I did a condom scene about 1 in every 20 scenes. Nobody cared. It was just a part of the job. It truly did not matter. It was talents choice and nobody elses' to make. That's what I think it should get back to - the performers freedom of choice. Not AHF's choice. Not FSC's choice. Not LATATA's choice. Not the government's choice. Our choice.

We as professional performers need to take a lot more control over our own careers. Otherwise, we'll always be prey for these kind of people.
