The Last Ship. I haven't give SyFy a chance since Galactica, but I love post- shithittingthefan.
Horrible acting. Lots of dramatic countdowns. The dialogue is corny. The XO is that John Wayne grandson who's always a high ranking military guy. The captain is the unholy bastard child of Kirk, Zap Brannigan and Wings Hauser.
But I'm hookied on the storyline. The acting and such is just bad enough to be hilarious. I'm in for the duration.

Apocalyptic. Yes, probably for the careers of those behind it.
In the Wikipedia entry it was mentioned that it was meant to be television at first and then, after nothing got going, it was turned into a novel by some ghost writer, I guess. Atrocious.
