That came from a source inside Manwin/MindGeek, what it means is that they absolutely have knowledge that copyrighted material is being posted to their tube sites and that essentially by approving the post they are the ones posting it.

It should also be noted that according to my sources Manwin/MindGeek has issued an edict that no employee is allowed to speak with any form of press and that they have installed keystroke loggers to find out who is talking to me, in particular.

If you work for Manwin NEVER contact me while on a company computer or on the company network….I know that you tech guys know this but others may not. Even an email from gmail can be keystroke logged. Contact me from your cell phone while on your carriers network or from your personal isp at home. The 2nd day at AEE 2014 showed more promise, but in the end it was lacking compared to previous years. I try and try to find the overall situation greater than past years, but I’m coming short.

It seems as though no one cares anymore and it is a matter of “Let’s do this and get it over with”. The talent being featured is doing a great job. They aren’t lacking in any way. They are giving their all to the fans and industry members that show up. If I were a company having girls signing I would have stepped up my game to make my company the most noticed company out there. I’m shocked that haven’t seen this happen because outshining another company would be easy at this point.

Digital Playground and Wicked have stepped down the most because after the “Fan Fest” opening for the first day today I learned that Wicked has zero presence there unlike previous years and as of now if you aren’t industry then you don’t meet them. Kinda fucked, eh? I only met Asa Akira because she was at the Elegant Angel stage. She was extremely kind as always.

Elegant Angel is using the same stage that they have used for previous years, but it is in the corner opposite of what the Wicked stage was and it is lacking the great Jimmy Orlando and is now located in The Joint which is where the “Fan Fest” is held.

There are a lot of girls in the “Fan Fest” charging for autographs. That means fans are paying for entrance and paying for autographs. However, a lot of
the girls signing neglected to put up signs informing people that they are charging which I find to be troublesome.

If I ask you for an autograph, you sign it, and then ask me for money then I’m going to tell you “No thank you” so you had better have a sign up there or else you are going to be wasting a full-color print out of you made out to some crippled-fuck named “Dan”.

My message to the talent is if you are charging for autographs then place a sign so I can easily navigate around you. Jynx Maze was charging 20 dollars for an autograph and a photo in the Fan Fest area. I’m almost positive she is signing 2 rows up later in the day at the AEBN area for free. Something doesn’t seem right with that.

In two days up until 3pm we were unable to get a solid schedule for the girls signing for Digital Playground. We were told it was press-only until 1:45 today and all of yesterday and at 1:45 today it was still press-only so as someone that is currently selling their entire DVD line I feel shafted.

I’m selling your product. I want to meet you and get an autograph as well as thank you. Your sex on film has made me money. Thanking you personally makes me feel better about the overall situation. It makes me feel less guilty. The only autographs I obtained were made possible by my manipulative girlfriend. “Industry-only” apparently means nothing when it comes to Manwin.

However, there was one amazing instance that I witnessed. Tori Black was signing for Hotmovies.com and some guy came up with a “phonebook” for her to sign (A large number of autographs that resembles many pages) He paid her more than 60 dollars for them and offered her more and she denied it. I encounter many people each year and to see someone turn down money that hasn’t shot a scene for a long time made me smile. To actually see someone offer money was great and for Tori Black to say it was all cool was an even greater moment.

This is Day 3 from Cripple Dan. It's a rather comprehensive update.

"Attendance is much greater than yesterday and the expo seems to be in full swing now."

"I don't know how to break this to you. You may want to sit down for this. Over the past few days I'm starting to get the notion that some people may not like you very much."

"Someone said "So, I noticed you were writing for the asshole" and I had no idea who he was referring to because the only person I'm writing for is you. Later on I heard someone calling my name and I turned around to see Mark Spiegler running up to me. He was very kind and introduced himself and asked if I wrote for you. I'm not sure why, but he seemed nice. Before I left the expo for the day I rolled my feeble being over to the Wicked booth and Brad Armstrong gave me a free autographed DVD of Underworld signed by Asa Akira. He handed it to me, smiled in a sly way, and said "Here ya go Cripple Dan". I thought that was really cool of him. It looks like a rockin' film too. I might review it."

There's the first paragraph of the Cripple Dan update. What have we learned from this?

All of the haters out there who say that Rob Black is a non-factor, I think a coupla people know who I am.

"I would have to say that Wicked is the most professional gig out there now. Their talent always presents themselves in the best manner possible. Even though their booth was greatly downsized this year I found it much easier to navigate on wheels than previous years. With condoms killing porn I don't understand how they can pull through and still make movies that resemble Hollywood films. Digital Playground has been greatly stripped down and they aren't using condoms so I am confused. Their booth isn't flashy at all this year, but the Wicked booth is. I call "shenanigans" because I'm told over and over that condoms won't sell so Wicked has to be up to no good. How can the biggest company there be condom-only if condom porn won't sell? It has to be a front for something. I refuse to believe that condom-only porn can sell regardless of how much evidence you shove in my face proving otherwise."

"The Elegant Angel stage in The Joint had a lot of activity at it today and they worked out a good system for a line that the fans stand in and the line was quite long. I did see a lot of signs today informing fans that the girls were charging. I commend them for that and it even allowed other talent to promote themselves with signs saying that their autographs are free. Capitalism."

Hmm.. Apparently people were listening yesterday when we were bitching and moaning that people were charging for autographs, but did not have signs up saying so.

So, I guess Mr Non-Factor Rob Black seems to be getting the information out to the studios and they seem to be listening. Even in Vegas.

"Adam & Eve was another exhibitor that sticks out in my mind for how structured their booth is. There aren't 3 lines for one performer blocking pathways around their booth. Their talent is very punctual and it appears that Adam & Eve has a very solid process that moves along smoothly. There is a really nice guy working the booth (I think his name is Scotty) and he makes sure the line flows and won't let people block the aisle. He completely eliminates the confusion and the mess that is apparent around a lot of the other exhibitors. If a girl has to be pulled away from the fans for an interview he kindly waits until she is done and apologizes to the fans that have to wait."

Wow. That is a glowing review for Adam and Eve and Scotty. You guys get the Cripple Dan half crooked thumbs up for being very professional. My hat's off to you.

As you see guys, we are not a biased show here. I could give two shits who does good, who does bad or any of those things. We have no dog in the fucking fight. Ultimately, our dog is a network deal high atop WNNNNNBC and we don't give a shit what happens with Adam and Eve or any of the other gedrools.

So if Cripple Dan says that they run a tight ship, I'm not gonna sit here and lie and say, "Oh, let me not print that. Because it doesn't work for my agenda."

My agenda is Rob Black. My agenda is getting my brand out there. That's it. Anything other than that, I could give two shits.

Cripple Dan Update from 2014 AVN Vegas Day Four : The Wrap Up

The final expo day did not differ from the previous day aside from attendance. It was packed. Having an expo in a tiered venue is a horrible idea. Picture an expo in a theater with stadium-style seating. Lunacy.

A lot of the attendees apparently love some band called “Affliction”, but I don’t think it was the 80’s thrash band because the logos on all of their shirts were different.

One thing I noticed that was different from previous years was the lack of exhibitors in at least the main halls giving out free condoms. I could jump to conclusions as to why that may be, but I’m not going to because I simply do not know the reasoning behind it.

The non-adult exhibitors in the main hall served as nothing more than an annoyance for the most part. If I see something I want to look at I will come up to you. I don’t need three of your workers stopping me on one pass I make across the hall. I doubt that I’m the only one that got annoyed by people constantly trying to hawk cell phone cases to the attendees. I don’t have a cell phone because I don’t want to be bothered all day. Sadly, those people bothered me all fucking day reminding me of why I don’t want one. (Don’t try to show someone in a wheelchair something by sticking it in their face as they are moving. They can’t stop on a dime when trying to build momentum on carpeted floors nor can they grab something from your hand due to the lack of a third arm. If you do happen to do that then please don’t be pissed when we roll over your white suede shoes. Sorry bro.)

In previous years it wasn’t difficult to avoid the non-adult exhibitors peddling their wares at the expo, but due to the low volume of attendees frequenting their half of the hall it seems as though they adapted to their surroundings and developed the ability to roam. They became annoying like the people on the Vegas strip handing out adverts for hookers.

I did notice something about those advertisers handing out the hooker cards on the street this year which surprised me and I feel as though it needs to be mentioned.

Apparently, some of the girls signing at the expo are offering 35-69 dollar specials according to the cards I rolled over that people had discarded on the sidewalk. The cards state that there aren’t any hidden fees either. I wouldn’t want to think that a person who appears as though they haven’t bathed for an extended period of time wearing a shirt that reads “Orgasm Clinic” would be guilty of false advertisement.

One of the women pictured on the cards was going by the name “Stacy” and she was signing for a very reputable company at the expo. (I assume that she was using the handle of “Stacy” so her agent or bosses wouldn’t know she was moonlighting.) At the expo “Stacy” was quite late to her signing for the fans. Sadly, if the exhibitor would have known about that card then they could have had her at the booth to meet the fans in 20 minutes or so as the card advertised.

Riley Steele showed up to sign for Axel Braun Productions at the Wicked booth which was a nice and unexpected addition and the line was extremely fucking long. She is still drawing in quite a crowd so it appears as though Mr. Braun made an excellent choice by signing her.

Overall, this year wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. However, it wasn’t as good as previous years. Last year wound up being much better, but I even thought that year was poor compared to previous years. It appears that the show keeps going down a little every year with this year showing the largest decline. I have a hunch that this pattern may not change any time soon.

exactly what i thought too. asa being worried about the market is a bit silly though. last year alone cost her at least 13% if she went straight savings account.

my retirement strategy hasn't changed since I entered porn in 2003. I used the bulk of my income to pay down my debt until it was zero. I used another portion of my monthly income to slowly build up my savings account. When I was hired to produce the bulk of the Naughty America scenes from 2009-2011 I made a lot more money than what I usually earned. I tried to save almost ALL of that extra income and I did that by continuing to perform in as many scenes as I could. So since 2011 I have been able to continue to pay 458 monthly into my IRA, and slowly increase my contribution into my equity account (which sadly hasn't increased much in a little over 2 years), and the most important thing is that my savings has not decreased...yet
