Debra Tate, sister of murder victim Sharon Tate, is incensed over the impending casting of "Manson Family XXX" ... a porn parody of the twisted Manson family murder spree that rocked L.A. in 1969.

Adult film director Will Ryder -- whose credits include "Not The Wizard of Oz XXX" -- will cast Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, Leslie Van Houten, Linda Kasabian, Charles "Tex" Watson, and others. Manson is the central figure who has sex with all of them.

Debra Tate calls it the lowest of lows ... vowing to sic her lawyers on producers if they dare use Sharon's name or likeness.

Problem is, it's parody so she's flat out of luck.

Never watched a porn parody, but besides being perhaps slightly classless, even for porn, this just seems like a dumb idea. There aren't enough notable people/faces to parody in this story.

Question, will Will use the Polanski connection to add a pedo scene? Implied of course. Wouldn't put it past him

Susan Atkins was highly bonable, and possibly the craziest out of the bunch. I bet she was a terrific lay.

Nah, but when he has Tex Watson porking Sharon, he should cutaway to some CGI of a whore playing a fetus blowing him.

Really though, should go with implied violence. Have an orgy scene at the Tate house, then the family comes in at the end, and fade out to back at the ranch where they have a blood covered, LSD fueled orgy of their own.

There is a saying that bad facts result in bad law. Push the line far enough and the sympathetic plaintiff will find an activist judge to create a new exception. If Hollywood studios sued on even half of these parodies the litigation cost would make adult producers think twice.

Bottom line, bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered.
