It was actually Maury from Brooklyn on that call, not Janks. I thought Joey Boots was the one that came out...

I still held some Reagan optimism at that point. When OJ was acquitted I knew it was over.

pretty sure boots came out long ago. early 2000's. and i don't think it was his idea.

It was recently I saw some Stern Board discussion about Janks coming out. Boots was out years ago.

dude needs two fulltime jobs to keep him away from himself.

here's real truth. artie in that routine would outwerk howie on his own show. he's a straight killer.

Howard used to seem pissed at times when Artie would take over the show.

A lot of Artie's act is repetitious. Dude is a story teller more than a comic, and he spent so much of the past few years doped up in his apartment, that he hasn't lived enough life to get new stories.

The Bob Uecker story is one of my favorites.
