The pontoons stay on the lake. My pond is too small for an outboard. So, my idea was to re-use the 50hp on the jonboat and launch the pontoon in the pond with a trolling motor but the chick nixed that idea because she said it would ghetto-ize the view. She's probably right. I'm giving the old pontoon to a friend who needs a new float because his has some stress cracks that no amount of welding can repair.

And yeah, the transom on the jonboat will need a lot of reinforcing. I've been searching "overpowered jonboat" on Youtube. I think I'll have some videos to rival the best of those when finished.
